Types Of Wolves
There are many types of wolves. There's the Gray Wolf ( canis lupus), the Red Wolf ( canis rufus), the Maned Wolf, which is not a wolf nor a fox (Chrysocyon brachyurus), the Mexican Wolf ( canis lupus baileyi), the Eurasian Wolf ( canis lupus lupus), the Arabian Wolf (canis lupus arabs), the Tundra Wolf ( canis lupus albus), the Steppe Wolf ( canis lupus campestris), the Tibetan Wolf ( canis lupus chanco), the Vancouver Island Wolf ( canis lupus crasoden), the Dingo ( canis lupus dingo), and finally the Arctic Wolf ( canis lupus arctos) .
Extinct Wolves
There are also a few extinct wolves. That includes the Dire Wolf, the Tasmanian Tiger-Wolf, the Bernard's Wolf, the British Columbia Wolf, the Honshu and Hokkaido wolves of Japan, and the Kenai Peninsula Wolf.
